Job Description:
We are looking for Staff Professionals for an environmental consulting company in Central Indianapolis, Indiana. The Staff Professional position is a support position in the Environmental Consulting field. Team is open to hiring an experienced engineer, geologist, or scientist with relevant credentials and some experience in environmental consulting. This staff professional will support a team of environmental professionals based out of Indianapolis. The staff professional will also support the completion of environmental projects. Primary responsibilities include completing all field program activities and associated administrative functions, adequately preparing basic written technical documents, and mentoring/training field professionals and support personnel on specifically assigned project tasks and company procedures. Must be open to travel. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. This position is direct hire.

Your Main Tasks:

Requirements:
-
1-3 years of experience, predominantly in environmental consulting
-
Valid Driver’s License with clean Motor Vehicle Report
-
Complete pre-employment background check and drug screen
-
Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
-
40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER
-
Open to travel
Preferred:
-
Licensed Professional Geologist (LPG)
-
Professional Engineer (PE)
-
Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
-
Mechanical aptitude
-
Experience with asbestos, radon, and/or lead-based paint
Education:
-
High school or equivalent
-
Advanced knowledge of Geology, Science, and/or Engineering from an accredited university
