Job Description:

We are looking for Geologists and Environmental Scientists/Engineers for an environmental consulting company in Northwest Indianapolis, Indiana. The Geologist/Environmental Scientist or Engineer is a support position in the Environmental Consulting field. This scientist/engineer supports a team of environmental professionals based out of Indianapolis. The scientist/engineer will also support the completion of environmental remediation projects. Primary responsibilities will be related to management of site investigation and remediation projects. Must be open to travel. The team is looking to hire two scientists/engineers, someone with 3-5 years of experience, as well as someone with 5-7 years of experience. These positions is direct hire.

Your Pay: 3-5 Yrs Exp: TBD / 5-7 Yrs Exp: $65,000 - $85,000/yr Salary

Your Main Tasks:

• Support team of environmental professionals

• Support completion of environmental remediation projects

• Assist in management of site investigations and remediation projects

 

Requirements:

• 3-5 (or 5-7) years of experience, predominantly in environmental consulting

• Valid Driver’s License with clean Motor Vehicle Report

• Complete pre-employment background check and drug screen

• Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills

• Open to travel

 

Preferred:

• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER

 

Education:

• High school or equivalent

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or Engineering

 

Schedule:

• Day Shift

• 8-10+ Hour Shifts

• Monday-Friday
